What if my GAMSAT score is low?

Yeah…
I get it.
This is the shyte part of GAMSAT, and especially this time of the year.
=> Click here to find out where you can apply with a low score and what your options are now.
But I’m not a fan of ignoring it or pretending it’s better than it is.
Some people need this pain to kick them into gear.
The way I see it, for many people, this right here may be the biggest lesson they take out of their GAMSAT journey – how they deal with ‘failure’.
And I put failure in inverted commas on purpose because is it really?
It’s only failure if you let it beat you.
On the other hand, if you use it as feedback then this can be the single most powerful moment in your life so far.
Here’s why:
Feedback shows you that something needs to change – probably with your GAMSAT preparation – and if you make that change then you will very likely end up where you want to be.
If you don’t, then you’ll just keep repeating the same mistakes.
(If your GAMSAT score is so low that you’re not applying and instead you’re doing the September GAMSAT then this will help you make that change and turn this around)
Secondly, if you choose to face an apparent failure by seeing it as feedback rather than something you beat yourself up with, then you have just developed a life skill that will serve you well for the rest of your life, no matter where you end up.
Sure, it feels like crap.
And you do need some time to cry it out or process the emotion in your own way.
But “fail fast” is the motto of just about any tech startup today.
They want failure because it gives them feedback and they can grow and improve.
Same thing here for you.
So,
With that said, if you want to find out what’s possible for you with your low GAMSAT score and/or GPA this application season then check this out.
