This should be free

Annoying,
Yet potentially helpful story…
Every now and then someone reading or watching my stuff says something like…
“If you really cared about people then this should be free!”
I’ve heard it so much over the years that now it just bores me.
They don’t say that stuff when Spotify emails to upgrade their account…
Or Amazon sends them a list of the latest books they might be interested in.
But with this it somehow seems different.
=> What To Do In The Last Few Weeks Before GAMSAT
Here’s the thing…
You can learn anything from YouTube videos, get a bunch of textbooks from the library, free stuff online and figure it all out yourself.
But when you run an educational and transformational program, that’s worth a lot.
People don’t necessarily buy our Bootcamp to learn concepts for the first time.
They are buying for a lot of different reasons…
Accountability, a community of helpful people, curation of content, personalisation, confidence, expertise, to save time, and tools like strategies, plans, handouts and practice questions, or because they want my take on things.
Transformation, holding space, listening, giving advice, helping others – ‘soft skills’ are often seen as invisible work.
They all play a part in our Bootcamp and are extremely valuable.
We still offer a ton of free stuff with these emails, training webinars, blog posts, social media content – and then if someone what’s more, then we charge for our time and expertise.
So these days I delete and ban anyone who tells me that we shouldn’t charge for our work.
Cheers,
Dr “ban and delete” Tom
P.S. I’m running a live group session on Wednesday next week that’s all about what to do in the last few weeks before the March GAMSAT.
These last few weeks, especially when uni starts up again, can make or break your result. Most people do all the wrong things and so miss out on a lot of marks.
I’m going to show you, based on my 14 years of experience (that’s 28 GAMSATs), what’s the best approach right now and what’s a total waste of time.
And this one’s a free session.
If you want more help from us after watching it then I’ll talk about how you can do that during the session.
Here’s the link to register.
