I talk to lots of different people, with lots of different schedules and some of the people we’ve helped have 3 kids, work FT, study PT and also prepare for the GAMSAT and yes, these people also get into med school.
So, you’re thinking to yourself ‘how did they do it!?’
Preparing for the GAMSAT, can be a big deal. Being overachievers that we already are, you probably have a lot of your plate already. Volunteering, working, PhD, taking care of kids.
Being busy shouldn’t stop you from doing the GAMSAT. You can prepare for the GAMSAT even with a busy schedule but it all comes down to how you spend your time.
You could spend 3 years studying for the GAMSAT and still not be using your time effectively.
You’re not developing the skills
The 3 key principles:
1 – You need to know what your weaknesses are. Not just broad terms like ‘Physics’ – you need to go into fine detail in what you’re missing in the topics, but the SKILLS that are being tested.
2 – Effective and impactful study – no point wafting on learning science topics or endless practice questions o reading widely.
3 – Plan is flexible and personalised to your situation – don’t get caught up in strict rules for your prep.
We incorporate all of that into your preparation so that it’s personalised to your situation.
