Med offers for 2020 entry came out early this year. Well done, GAMSAT and the Uni’s.

The waiting is the worst. So an early release is perfect.

And as you can imagine, it was a day of mixed emotions.

Some people got some of the best news of their lives. While others were devastated.

Personally, I’ve been both. And I can tell you, the good news is better.

But for Bootcamp member Lauren Crocker there was no confusion about her feelings. (I love the modesty though.)

Hi Everyone,

I still can’t believe it, but on Friday I received a surprise offer for Medicine at UQ in 2020!! I am absolutely thrilled and so excited, and I just wanted to thank everyone – especially Dr Tom, Mare (And Karina) for everything you have done for me to help make this possible!! All the work and stress paid off, and I really did “Get In This Year” – first and last GAMSAT ever!!!!

Thanks so much for all of the support, webinars, and interview preparation. I couldn’t have done it alone!!

Our tagline at PassGAMSAT is “Get In This Year”… Because there’s no point planning to fail by doing a trial or expecting to do many GAMSAT – more about this later.

Lauren got into the highly sought after UQ on her first attempt.

It’s my belief that this kind of success at the GAMSAT is not just about Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

GAMSAT is about much more than that. Becoming a Doctor is about much more than that.

If that’s all it was about then many more people would succeed at it.

There’s more going on.

That’s why so many people experience near-crippling self-doubt about his exam.

Nothing else brings up people’s fear of failure like GAMSAT.
