Jane the GAMSAT Virgin

God, that show!
Netflix’s “Jane The Virgin”
It’s funny but soooo bad. But so good. But so not. I’m torn.
Mare loves it and has convinced me to watch a few episodes in the past…oh who am I kidding… it’s never just ‘a few’ episode with a Telenovela! There have been nights where I’ve made Mare play the next episode because the cliffhanger at the end was too good to ignore.
Rogelio de la Vego is the BEST.
Favourite line was when he had chemistry with is ex on his show and said, “Of course there was chemistry. It’s me. I would have chemistry with a cardboard box”
Anyway, onto the GAMSAT related Telenovela lesson.
Just like Jane had an unhealthy relationship with her virginity…
Too many first time GAMSAT sitters have an unhealthy relationship with doing a practice GAMSAT at home.
Just like Jane, they put it off for way too long.
They wait until everything is ‘perfect’. Until they’ve reviewed a bunch of science content, ‘read widely’ (whatever that means), and wasted a lot of time. Then they do a practice paper and realise that all that study was pointless, none of it helped and they wasted their time while others got ahead.
There’s a better way.
Instead,
Do a half ACER practice paper (half of each section) at the start of your preparation.
Before you study.
Make sure it’s under exam timing too.
That way you’ll get an accurate understanding of what the questions are like, what you’re up against, what you struggled with, what needs to be worked on and what this test is about.
It will help you direct your study more effectively.
And if you want me or my team to show you how to prepare for this exam with clarity, focus, confidence, and great results….
