Gotta tell ya,

ScoMo’s done a bute job with the CV19 response.

Australia’s gotta be one of the best case scenarios of how things could have gone.

And in no small part due to what ScoMo and his cronies in Canberra have done. Probably why his approval ratings have risen so sharply.

He’s even become a Meme on a couple of occasions.

One of my favourites was the “Stop It!” speech (part of which is quoted above).

If you don’t remember it was in response to bulk buying and hoarding.

He gave the public a very Australian, firm but fair talking to. I want to take a leaf out of ScoMo’s book right now and apply that speech to doing the GAMSAT as a trial exam.

“Stop it! It’s not sensible. It’s not helpful.”

Doing it as a trial is 100% totally and completely pointless.

You will learn more and get far more feedback by doing an exam at home under exam conditions. They don’t give you any feedback after the actual exam. Zero feedback. Just a scaled mark that’s no indication of what you need to work on.

But the truth is,

Doing the GAMSAT as a trial has nothing to do with feedback.

It’s not nothing to do with ‘getting a feel for it’.

No.

Instead, it’s a way to dip your toe in the water to see if you are good enough, instead of jumping in 100% and risking being disappointed.

It’s fear based and done out of self doubt. Nothing else.

And it’s a waste.

A waste of money, of time, and this great opportunity to become a doctor, and most importantly, it’s a waste of your potential.

You can do this.
